THE ETRUSCAN BORGO

Description: 
An ancient semi fortified village ("borgo") dating from 928 AD., on a large estate 17 km. north of Rome. It stands like a sentinel in the enchanted and unspoilt Etruscan countryside close to the seaside. The location has great suggestion, offering a combination of open countryside and deep Etruscan ravines. Inside the borgo, several apartments, all elegantly furnished, cluster harmoniously around a grassy courtyard, with a church, a working medieval bread oven and a tavern for guests . All this is framed by a parapet overlooking the fields of Etruria. The owners, Andrea and Giulia specialise in cultivation of natural produce - excellent for guests who want to have family reunions, parties, weddings, ceremonies or country meals at home or in the Medieval tavern.

3) " La Caciara" (sleeps 2-3)

4) "Acacia Nord" ( sleeps 6-8)
1 shower room* 2 twin/double bedrooms * 1 twin triple/bedroom * 1 garret bedroom suitable for a single young person * fully equipped kitchen* living - dining area for 6 people * beautiful terrace * entrance hall 

5) "Acacia Sud" (sleeps 4)
studio with 1 double bed, * twin beds in open garret * living-dining room with equipped kitchen area * 1 shower room.

6) "Diacono" (sleeps 6-8)

7) "Chiesetta House" (sleeps 2-4)

- Shops and restaurants: 4.5 km away and one excellent restaurant 600 metres away.
- Tavern: a large medieval tavern, play room and extra kitchen are available for guests on most days of the week. This is an excellent extra space also for children to play.

- Animals and pets: not allowed
- Bicycles: are available on loan
- Transport: Airport is 20 mins. away.
- Local Metro stations: Journey time into Rome 15 - 20 mins. but a car is needed at the Borgo.
