Recent apartment in Via Monserrato, a few steps from Campo de’ Fiori and from Piazza Farnese. It is located in one of the historical streets in Rome, famous for its antique furniture shops. In the past this street  was the part of the “recta papalis” way for the papal processions. The present name of the street “Monserrato” comes from the Church dedicated to the Blessed Virgin of the famous Spanish sanctuary  of Monserrat, 60 km far from Barcelona. The church was build in 1518 but its origins go back to the years. In 1352 a  Spanish noblewoman Jacoba  Ferrandes, bought a house at that time  Via Arenula and founded a small hospital for her compatriots and it was dedicated to S. Niccolò de’ Catalani,. The Home for the old Chapel will become the small church of S.Niccolò a Corte Savella , and after its demolition will be built the present S.Maria del Monserrato. Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Trastevere and the Vatican can be easily reached on foot. Public transportation are just around and a lot of any kind of shops are nearby to satisfy any needs during your stay.

This up-to-date apartment has been recently renovated and is on the first floor of an old mansion. It is well furnished with fine taste and with an absolute trendy and colourful touch! The living room is composed of a single sofa bed. Near the sofa there is a nice apple shape armchair, and a round table suitable for 3 people and good for having breakfast, lunch and dinner. The apartment has a Plasma TV with international channels and has a well equipped kitchen corner.

This opens onto the day area, light, elegant and silent, complete with dining table and chairs, and a comfortable sofa in the corner. From here, you reach the first bedroom with a single bed which also has a pull-out bed. The built-in wardrobe and a useful desk complete the furniture. The last bedroom has a double bed and is large, comfortable and just as elegantly decorated. It has independent heating and during the summer months, the accommodation is cool, thanks to its position and the thickness of the ancient walls.

The bedroom has a comfortable double bed and a nice and trendy chest of drawers, useful for small garments or personal belongings, a nice separé painted with the famous years 50’s actress Audrey Hepburn, for changing and hanging your garments in your own privacy. A big wardrobe with three doors is useful to store your stuff. The bathroom has a  wash basin, WC,shower and, as you can see from the picture, has fine finishing to make it luxurious. This apartment is suitable for a couple who would like to spend a romantic holiday in the Eternal City or for a 3 people family.

The quoted prices include: 
Electricity, gas, water.
For weekly rentals,  one cleaning and linen change service. 
For rentals of at least two weeks, a 10% discount will be applied.
We accept bookings for minimum three nights.
Daily prices will be increased by 15% from the 12/23 to the 01/06.
